  • Details MNTL’s research topic mainly focus on the design and manufacture of small-scaled machines based on conventional semiconductor manufacturing processes. In detail, we are more interested in developing various biomedical systems for patient-oriented personal health care or early diagnosis, developing new physical and chemical sensors for wireless sensor network applications, developing new manufacturing processes with functional nanomaterials, and developing miniaturized energy harvesters to supply continuous electricity to micromachined sensors and actuators. When you join this laboratory, you will learn basic semiconductor processes and learn how to use them engineeringly.
